Baseboard & Basecap Molding

Baseboard millwork molding is trim installed along the bottom of interior walls, right where they meet the floor. It serves a functional and decorative purpose, protecting the wall from damage. They are available in basic (minimalistic), decorative (detailed), rounded/angled (traditional), and sculpted styles. Baseboards can be made from wood, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), composites, polyurethanes, or tiles.

Base cap molding is decoratively installed on a baseboard to create a layered look. Its available styles range from simple to elaborately ornate. This type of molding is made from wood, PVC, and more. Residential and commercial millwork molding can be used to decorate walls, doors, windows, and more.

Crown Molding

Crown molding is decorative millwork installed between the wall and the ceiling. It is typically used on cabinets, entryways, mantels, and bookshelves, bringing elegance at an affordable price to any room. Crown molding is primarily available in wood or plaster but can also be made of rubber/flex, styrofoam, or a peel-and-stick material.

Door & Window Casing

Door casings are decorative mouldings or trims around door frames, creating an enhanced, clean look. They also serve a functional purpose of covering the gap between the frame and the wall, which helps prevent drafts and improve energy efficiency. Our custom millwork casings are highly durable and ideal for any room. They are available in various styles, from minimalistic to elaborate, and are made from wood, MDF, and composite materials.

Window casings are decorative trims placed around windows to cover the gap between the window and the wall. They help secure windows, hide imperfections, provide structural support, and weatherproof rooms while creating an aesthetically pleasing finish. Like door casings, they can be simple or elaborately designed and made from the same materials.

Shoe Molding & Quarter Round

Millwork shoe molding is a thin trim along baseboards, making it the perfect decorative addition to finish floor transitions. Its primary purpose is to close the gap between the baseboard and the floorboards, but it also helps to cover imperfections or unevenness. This type of moulding is usually slender and rounded and made out of wood, MDF, or polystyrene.

Shoe moulding and quarter round are used for the same purpose, but the main difference is the shape. Quarter round has a broader profile than shoe moulding and comes in more shapes. It’s used to fill gaps between floors and walls, baseboards, and cabinets, hide imperfections, and help prevent baseboard damage.

Brick Molding

Brick molding prevents weather damage to doors and window frames by covering gaps between the frame and the wall. It also helps to seal out weather, insects, and moisture. This exterior molding is most commonly used on homes with brick siding, but it can also be used on other homes for a decorative flair.

1×4, 1×6, 1×8 Boards

Boards in various sizes, including 1×4, 1×6, and 1×8, are used to build exterior walls, floors, decks, and roofs. Boards can also be used for interior trims, shelving, and other DIY projects. If you want to start a project, begin by Googling “lumber near me.” Remember that boards are called 1×4, 1×6, or 1×8 because the rough-sawn board was intended to be 1 foot four inches wide, etc.
